I’d love for Canon to release a RAW to C-RAW converter, either as a standalone utility or built into DPP, with the requisite disclaimer that the conversion is one-way. Purchased 2080 elements plus premier from Best Buy yesterday I have them installed now but can not get the Serial Number. The links above are about moving Lightroom catalogue and files to a newcomputer, not about installing Lightroom on a new machine when I have already purchased it and been using it. If you cannot return it for a refund, then purchase a LR 4 also from Amazon and use that serial number as the 'original' serial number to license your LR 5. Do what you would normally do if you buy the wrong thing from Amazon.

I do have the image quality toggle (hold) set to C-RAW and mapped to the trash button, but I rarely remember to even use it. but I have not lost the serial number, I have the serial number for 3 (bought on disc) and 4 (paid for upgrade online) John B. You need the Full version not the Upgrade version. Hard drives are pretty cheap nowadays, and a 4TB external will hold years and years of photos at my shooting rate. Both say it’s safe to use C-RAW in almost all situations.Īs for myself, I still have my M50 set to regular RAW.
